Our definition of a disciple

What is the Gospel?

God exists in 3 persons and created a perfect world where we were made in His image and had harmony with God and others. We chose to rebel against God to choose for ourselves what is “right & wrong”. None of this surprised God who had chosen to take our covenant responsibility on Himself (Genesis 3:15 & 15:1-21).

Jesus is God who became human and lived in our world.

The Apostle Paul puts it this way:

Let me pass on to you that which is of primary importance: that Jesus Christ, God come in the flesh, died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried in tomb, and He was raised on the third day, putting death to death, according to the Scriptures.

And this is a genuine and historical event — the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus — and is the beginning of God restoring all of creation by, for, and with King Jesus.
